It’s official now, we are no longer the Wisconsin Nevilles. Well, we haven’t lived in Wisconsin for 2 months now. But we finally just updated our website! So now it’s definitely official.

Well, we did it! We are finally completely unpacked, decorated, and cleaned. We’ve got two photo albums for everyone to check out.
One album is our last days in Madison, WI through our first day in Knoxville, TN. It shows our old apartment, saying goodbye to friends, cleaning nasty things, arriving in Knoxville, our empty house, unpacking, and a major haircut for Mark. View the album here.
The second album is pictures of our new home. It’s got views of the front of the house, the living room, the dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and office. We also have two more rooms, a spare bedroom and the master bedroom, but we didn’t take any pics because we wanted to leave some surprises

We love the new place and we’re really settling in now that we aren’t living out of boxes. We have plenty of room, so come visit us!

Well, we arrived in Knoxville, TN safe and sound last Thursday, March 25th. Mark was awesome and drove the Budget moving truck (towing our SUV) for the entire way down, about 14 hours. We’ve been unpacking like crazy and working really hard to get the house in order before Lilia’s first day of work, which is tomorrow – April 1st. Mark has already had two job interviews, and has another one scheduled for next week. Opportunities seem to be lining up for him, and we are completely grateful and excited.
Today we finished unpacking all of our boxes. Woohoo!! Pretty much everything is put away somewhere, we just have to hang things and find a permanent spot for some loose ends.
Pictures will be coming soon! We’ve been taking pictures since we started packing in Madison, it’s just a matter of finding the time to put them on the computer and get them up on the website. Hopefully this Friday, but definitely by next week, so stay tuned!
Well, it’s happening. The Wisconsin Nevilles are leaving Madison, Wisconsin and moving to Knoxville, Tennessee. I suppose we’ll be the Tennessee Nevilles.
We are leaving in exactly one week from today, and one week from tomorrow we will be moving in to our new place:

We are absolutely ecstatic and we’ve been SUPREMELY hectic and chaotic — but all in a good way The cat and the dog are coming with us. The house is in the historic district of Knoxville. Our family and friends have been hugely supportive. We’ve got our moving truck reserved, we’re gonna tow the SUV behind the Budget rental truck, and everything is just falling in to place like this was meant to be.
This move is prompted by Lilia landing a position with University of Tennessee-Knoxville, in the Office of Communications and Marketing. She’ll be doing web design and development.
Mark is really excited about the move and can’t wait to see the mountains everyday. One of our best college buddies lives in the neighborhood and said our front porch has a view of the mountains.

On Jan 22 we went to see the UW Madison men’s hockey team play Denver University. It was so much fun! It was the first hockey game that Lilia has ever been to, so it was definitely a night to remember.
Denver scored 2 goals in the first two periods, and then in the third period we scored 3 goals in the first six or seven minutes. Denver scored another to tie us up and we went into overtime. No one scored in OT, so the game was a tie. But, the next night they played again and we defeated Denver!
