The weekend after we got back from Thanksgiving, we went out with our Sconnie friends Casey & Brian and cut down our Christmas tree. This was the first time that we cut down our tree. Two years ago we bought one at Home Depot & last year we didn’t put one up because we went to Colorado. But the tree farm we went to was just 20 miles outside of Madison and it was the quickest Christmas-tree-cutting-down-experience Mark and I have ever had!!

After we cut down the tree and brought it inside, the four of us made gingerbread houses! It was really fun!
